Dr. Rocco Arena
Principal Dentist / Director
Dr Rocco Arena attended the University of Adelaide, graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1994. For 30 years, he’s been crafting custom care plans for patients of all walks of life in the community.

From an early age, Dr Arena was interested in how dentistry could positively impact people’s lives while also profoundly improving their general health. This was enough to set him on his journey to becoming a dentist, changing lives, and crafting beautiful smiles along the way.
In order to provide the best care for his patients, Dr Arena participates in continuing education courses throughout the year that help him stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in the field that will ultimately benefit his practice.
When he isn’t crafting beautiful smiles at Arena Dental, Dr Rocco Arena likes to spend time with his young and busy family while also pursuing his musical aspirations — he’s also a keen guitarist!
Dr. Samuel Mang
General Dentist
Dr. Sam attended the University of Adelaide, graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Sam is passionate about all areas of general dentistry, with a particular interest in oral surgery and helping patients feel supported through every stage of their dental journey.
He believes dentistry goes beyond treating teeth, it’s about understanding people, building trust, and empowering patients to take control of their oral health.
Dr. Sam is dedicated to continually growing his skills and knowledge, with a long-term goal of giving back to the profession and supporting future generations of dentists, just as his mentors have done for him.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Sam has a creative side, he enjoys folding origami, singing, reading (especially non-fiction), and discovering great restaurants. He may even surprise you by speaking Spanish!
Courtney Rutjens
Courtney joined Arena Dental in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of expertise and a strong passion for oral health care. She completed her Advanced Diploma of Oral Health in 2021 and over the last 4 years has been dedicated to providing the highest standard of care as our Dental Hygienist.
Committed to lifelong learning, Courtney continually updates her knowledge and skills to ensure she delivers the best possible care and oral health advice. Her dedication to excellence was recognised with a Certificate in Ethical and Professional Practice during her studies.
Courtney’s scope of practice includes the treatment of periodontal disease, oral health education, teeth whitening, fissure sealants, and more. She is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy smiles for life, while ensuring they feel comfortable, informed, and supported at every visit.
Dental Hygienist
Corrinna Galpin
Oral Health Therapist
With nearly 20 years of experience in dentistry, Corrinna is a highly skilled Oral Health Therapist who joined Arena Dental in 2025. She is passionate about preventive oral health, gum care, and minimally invasive dental treatment.
Corrinna holds a Bachelor of Oral Health and has extensive training in periodontal therapy, disease prevention, and patient education. She has also held leadership roles, including Oral Health Team Leader, where she oversaw hygiene services, mentored staff, and supported multidisciplinary dental teams.
Corrinna offers dental check-ups for children and adolescents, professional cleans, fillings, teeth whitening, fissure sealants, and fluoride treatments, working closely with our dentists to care for patients of all ages.
Known for her warm, gentle, and patient-focused approach, Corrinna is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable and confident while achieving healthy smiles for life.
Abbey Stirna
Practice Manager
Abbey has been a valued member of the Arena Dental team since 2018 and has played an integral role in the practice for over seven years.
She began her journey with us as a trainee Dental Assistant, completing her Certificate III in Dental Assisting while working closely alongside Dr Rocco Arena as his trusted Dental Assistant for more than three years.
In 2022, Abbey transitioned into the role of Practice Manager after completing further studies in Practice Management. In this position, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the practice, manages the team, and ensures the smooth running of the clinic so patients receive the highest level of care and organisation.
Abbey is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment for every patient who walks through the doors. Whether you’re arriving for your appointment or have a question about your care, she is one of the friendly faces you’ll see at reception, helping ensure your experience at Arena Dental is seamless, comfortable, and well coordinated.
Mahya
Clinical Coordinator
Mahya joined the Arena Dental team in 2023 as our trainee Dental Assistant and has quickly become an essential part of our practice. With her warm, welcoming presence at reception and skilled support chairside, Mahya ensures every patient feels comfortable and cared for from the moment they arrive.
Holding a Certificate III in Dental Assisting, Mahya brings strong clinical knowledge and a passion for patient care to her role. She works seamlessly with our dentists and hygienists, assisting with procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and helping maintain a smooth, efficient workflow throughout the clinic.
Mahya is currently studying Radiography at TAFE SA, further developing her skills in 2026. Mahya’s dedication, attention to detail, and genuine care for others shine through in everything she does, making her a valued member of the Arena Dental team.
Isabella
Dental Assistant
Isabella joined the Arena Dental team in 2025 and has quickly become a valuable member of our practice. With her friendly nature and calm approach, she helps create a positive and welcoming experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
Holding a Certificate III in Dental Assisting, Isabella supports our clinicians both chairside and behind the scenes. She is currently studying dental radiography, further developing her skills to enhance patient care.
Her caring attitude, professionalism, and commitment to patient comfort make her a trusted member of the Arena Dental family. Whether assisting in the clinic or helping patients feel at ease, Isabella is dedicated to delivering the high standard of care we’re known for.
